Wieder im winterlichen Wien...
Seit einer Woche sind wir schon wieder in der "lieben schönen alten Donaustadt" zurück - und mir ist das alte Tournée - Büchlein von meiner 1. Japan - Tour im Jahre 2005 (Zauberflöte) in die Hände gefallen. Es war ein Präsent meiner Freundin Magda , und es war lustig jetzt die alten Aufzeichnungen nocheinmal zu lesen und mit meinen jetzigen Eindrücken von Japan zu vergleichen. Sie hat mir damals konkrete Fragen ins Büchlein geschrieben, die ich auch beantwortet hatte. Hier eine Gegenüberstellung:
Was gefällt dir besonders an Japan?
- Das japanische Frühstück! Besonders der viele&leckere Reis.
- Die Puddings und Meiji - Mandeln.
- Dass es warm ist - und natürlich: DAS MEER, die Strände, die Naturschönheiten (...)
- Die Verlässlichkeit und die Pünktlichkeit, Geschwindigkeit und Sauberheit der Shinkhansen - Züge.
- Die Tempel, besonders wenn sie schön bunt und mit tollen Kontrasten/Mustern bemalt sind.
- Dass manche Ampeln Melodien spielen.
- Die 100 Yen - Shops. (auch wenn sie Süchte auslösen). - Das herrliche Papier und Geschirr!
- Die jap. Gärten und Parks. (bis auf Shiba Park)

Und diesmal...2009?
- Aaaalso...ja, das Frühstück war definitiv nach wie vor ein Highlight und das eine einzige Mal, wo ich es party (bzw. schlaf-) bedingt auslassen musste tat mir richtig Leid...dabei gings mir jetzt aber weniger um den vielen und leckeren Reis, sondern diesmal wusste ich recht schnell und eindeutig, was ich lieber und weniger mag, und aß dementsprechend weniger vielfältig aber gezielter ausgewählt als damals:
- Meine kulinarischen Favoriten waren heuer: Miso - Suppe, Eier (Tamago-) Sushi, Matcha - Tee, black sesame - Eis, Yuzu (jap. Mandarine) - Saft, Edamame (ganze Sojabohnen), meinen damaligen Lieblings - Schokopudding vom Lawson gibt es anscheinend nicht mehr, dafür entdeckte ich die ganzen Matcha - Produkte (Latte, Puddings, Mochis!!) Sojasauce und andere vermeintliche "must haves" habe ich hingegen oft fast völlig weggelassen.
- Meer, Strände, Naturschönheiten sind nachwievor natürlich toll, trotzdem waren wir diesmal auch mehr in Städten oder shoppen (besonders in Tokyo), was auch seine Reize hatte und für mich auch ein typisches Japan - Erlebnis ist.
- Die Shinkhansen, Hikari, und sonstigen Schnellzüge habe ich wieder sehr genossen (solange sie nicht eiskalt klimatisiert waren)
- Die bunten Bemalungen von Tempeln sind mir dagegen weniger aufgefallen...bei Tempeln kommts mir mehr auf die Athmosphäre des Ortes an, als darauf, wie das ganze angemalt ist.
- Die 100 Yen - shops sind und bleiben einfach Magnete...und nirgends bekommt man so billig Mitbringsel, Matcha - Besen, ipod - Hüllen, und sonstiges Zubehör!
- Das Geschirr hat mich heuer ganz kaltgelassen, aber das Papier...konnte mich daran kaum sattsehen!
- Sonst haben mich heuer die witzigen japanische "Pass" - Bild - Maschinen begeistert, das unvergessliche pikante Edamame - Mochi, so ungefähr das Beste, das ich auf der tour gegessen habe, und...auch die schier grenzenlose Auswahl beim shoppen in Tokyo.

Das war am Anfang weit mehr als jetzt. Aber na gut...
- Das die Ampeln ewig lang rot bleiben.
- Dass in Geschäften und Hotel - Gängen permanent Musikberieselung ist, oft verschiedene knapp nebeneinander.
- Dass in vielen Hotels die Fenster nicht aufgehen und dass das Bad eine Plastikschachtel ist...überhaupt:
- Dass so vieles pseudomäßig europäisch nachgemacht ist, pseudo - alte Möbel, pseudo - italienische Sachen, allg:
- Dass der echte eigene Stil oft zu Gunsten europ. Nachahmungen verloren gegangen ist.
- Dass die meisten Stäcdte vorallem aus hässlichen grauen neueren Betonhäusern bestehen.
- Dass ich hier nicht gescheit singen kann.
- Dass ich die Azuki - Bohnenpaste scheinbar nicht vertrage und dadurch einiges typisches nicht essen kann. (war noch nie zuvor!)
- Dass ich dauernd ein und auspacken muss und mein Gepäck immer mehr wird.
- Dass die Bühnenschminke die Haut auf die Dauer sehr reizt.
- Dass so viele Japaner in öffentl. Berufen nicht gescheit Englisch können und man sich nichts gscheit fragen kann.
- Dass ich dauernd Trinkwasser kaufen muss! Heut zB. trank ich 5 Liter. So eine Schlepperei!

Huch, das war ja eine lange Liste! Und jetzt, 2009?
Also ich kann mit Stolz sagen, dass fast alle Punkte diesmal weggefallen sind und mir kaum etwas einfällt das zu bemängeln wäre! (wie un - österreichisch! Viell. bin ich doch noch nicht ganz angekommen?) Im Gegenteil, ich kam auf manche Dinge erst diesmal drauf:
- Das Wasser aus der Leitung war überall trinkbar, manchmal besser, manchmal weniger gut, aber gekauft (oder gar geschleppt) habe ich es fast nie.
- Als die Bühnenmakeup - bedingten Hautreizungen begannen, habe ich die Grundierung einfach weggelassen...
- Das viele Ein - und Auspacken sah zwar manchmal im 1. Moment oft aussichtslos aus, ging aber immer schneller als gedacht...und in den Koffer ging auch mehr hinein, als man oft vermutet hätte...
- Diesmal hatten wir 2 KollegInnen dabei, die ein bisschen Japanisch verstehen und sprechen, also war die Verständigung oft um einiges leichter.
- Es gab in fast jeder Halle ein Einsing - Zimmer...also war es theorätisch fast immer möglich zu Üben, zumindest genug um nicht ganz aus der Form zu geraten...
- die unästhetischen Stadtbilder und pseudo-irgendwie - Nachahmungen sind mir diesmal kaum aufgefallen (schon gewohnt, auch von USA...)
- Musikberieselung war eher lustig als störend, die Bade - Nasszellen kein Problem, solange sie sauber und mit vielen kleinen Shiseido - Sachen ausgestattet sind - bitte gerne!
Das einzige wirklich nachwievor lästige waren definitiv die ewig lang roten Ampeln und der Mangel an öffentlichen Mistkübeln.
Hm....was bedeutet das nun? Kommt Alter, kommt Toleranz?
