...was a studio recital. (aka "Klassenabend")
It was the second one in this semester, as so many students are graduating and everybody wanted to have a chance to perform the songs and arias that we'll perform at our Bachelor's - recitals.
This time I sang 4 Mahler - Lieder, a Mozart aria from "Mitridate" and the Telephone - aria by Menotti.
Yesterday I visited my family in Brunn again and so I had access to my fathers video-tape. I uploaded my favourite Mahler - Lied. It's called "Erinnerung". Actually I like the other 3 of them as much of even better, but concerning the performance I liked this one best. And it fits to the mood I'm currently in. See..that's at least one reason why we just can't always be happy...there would be no reason for composing melancholic lyrics or songs. Where would all the drama be? Would the arts exist at all?
